VIK: Water from Jahorina springs is not for use

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija informs citizens that water coming into the VIK system from Jahorina springs is not recommended for use due to heavy rainfall, and it is recommended for preventive reasons not to use drinking water from Jahorina springs.

The location to which this information applies includes the following streets: Dolovi, Pogledine, Jarčedoli, Iza gaja, Bajramuša, Nalina, Veliki Kačanik, Mali Kačanik, Trčivode, Alije Miladina, Čeljigovići, Hadžibajrića, Paje, Paje sokak, Paje malta, Kamenica, Mahmutovac, Sulejmana Zolja, Pod Hridom, Apelova cesta, Kamenica potok, Šerina, Muje Hrnjice, Hošin brijeg, Braće Nuhić and Močila-terezija.

It is recommended to boil water at the mentioned location for about 10 minutes before use, but on the condition that no cloudiness, discoloration, or odor is observed in the water before boiling.

If cloudiness, discoloration, or odor is observed, the use of water is not recommended even after boiling.
