UN Security Council adopts resolution extending EUFOR's mandate in BiH

(Patria) - The UN Security Council will today adopt a harmonized resolution extending the EUFOR mission in BiH for another 12 months. The resolution, which caused disagreements among members of the UN Security Council, particularly the US, Russia, and China, does not mention the Office of the High Representative (OHR) anywhere.

The report forwarded from the OHR on BiH to member states will not be presented by the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt, but member states can discuss the report during the session.

The report will not be adopted, but its parts and warnings about the escalating situation in BiH initiated by Milorad Dodik with blockades and secession announcements will certainly be discussed.
