Council of Ministers to determine holiday bonus for 2016 and discuss media pressure

The BiH Council of Ministers is meeting today, and among other things, it will consider the Proposal of the Decision on the amount of the holiday bonus for annual leave in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2016, writes the Patria News Agency.

The session will also consider the information from the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees on the occurrences of pressure and intimidation of the media in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ministers will also consider the Initiative of Denis Bećirović, a Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, adopted at the 9th session held on March 25, 2015, which tasks the BiH Council of Ministers to prepare and submit to the parliamentary procedure in 2015 a draft law on the prohibition of inciting and spreading national, religious, racial, and other forms of hatred in BiH.

Several pieces of information will also be considered, such as the holding of the plenary meeting of the Structured Dialogue on Justice and additional issues of the rule of law, on the occurrences of pressure and intimidation of the media in BiH, and on the complaints of Kamenica et al. against Serbia, which the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg forwards to BiH regarding the right to interference.
