Council of Ministers dismissed Zubac: Independent Board given two months to elect new SIPA director

The session of the Council of Ministers of BiH has concluded, where the proposal of the Independent Board for the dismissal of SIPA director Goran Zubac was unanimously accepted, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

As confirmed to us, the Independent Board will have a two-month deadline to prepare and carry out the procedure for the election and appointment of a new SIPA director.

Until the completion of this process, the deputy Đuro Knežević will perform the function.

We remind you that the Court of BiH found Zubac guilty on March 5th for dereliction of duty due to refusing to send the Special Unit during the protests on February 7th, 2014, to assist members of the DKPT.

At that time, material damage exceeding 300,000 KM occurred, and the building of the Presidency of BiH also burned.
