Council of Ministers finally distributes donated equipment and funds

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Security, adopted a Decision on the distribution of financial resources collected from domestic legal and natural persons for the fight against COVID – 19, paid into the dedicated sub-account of the Single Treasury Account of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This concerns 747,625.92 KM collected on this basis, and the distribution will be carried out according to previously agreed percentages, namely 459,789.93 KM (61.5%) for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 280,359.72 KM (37.5%) for the Republika Srpska, and 7,476.26 KM (1%) for the Brčko District of BiH. According to the Decision, the Federation of BiH shares the received funds with 10 cantons in equal proportion of 50%.

The Council of Ministers of BiH, also at the proposal of the Ministry of Security, adopted a Decision on the distribution of international aid for protection and rescue in equipment and other means. This is aid consisting of 200 special sets of protective equipment, including medical protective suits, visors and goggles, received from the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, and 42 thousand disposable protective face masks received from the Children's Choir of the city of Wuxi from the People's Republic of China.

The aid is distributed in accordance with the principles of distribution, namely to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina 61.5%, to the Republika Srpska 37.5% and to the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina 1%. The Federation of BiH will share the received international aid with 10 cantons in equal proportion, 50%.
