(Patria) - The Council of Ministers is scheduled to appoint a new director of SIPA today.
Security Minister of BiH Nenad Nešić submitted his proposal, and from the list of candidates, he proposed Slobodan Radinković.
Patria reported back in July that Slobodan Radinković, head of the Police Administration of the MUP RS Doboj, was the favorite for the director of SIPA, which turned out to be true today. Although Radinković is only third on the ranking list, the Security Minister of BiH Nenad Nešić will propose the appointment of Radinković as director of SIPA.
This appointment is questionable given that information has emerged suggesting that ministers from the Trojka might oppose him, considering certain information that allegedly links him to individuals from the criminal milieu.
Otherwise, the session, which is expected to be held today, will include the initiative to conduct negotiations for the conclusion of a loan agreement - Reform and Growth Instrument for the Western Balkans between the EU and BiH, i.e., the Central Bank of BiH as the loan agent.
On the agenda is the draft loan agreement - the project for the construction and equipping of an additional facility for student accommodation at the Public Institution Student Center "Boriša Starović" in Foča between the Saudi Fund for Development and BiH, proposed by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
At the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, draft agreements and amendments between BiH and the European Investment Bank concerning the financing of the "Corridor Vc" highway - Kvanj Tunnel - Buna, Mostar Jug, and Zenica Sjever are to be considered.
