The BiH Council of Ministers has adopted a Decision on approving the purchase/acquisition of a building for housing institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, with an area of 7,000 to 8,000 square meters, which will relieve the budget of BiH institutions and avoid a significant portion of further costs due to space rental, for which about 10 million marks are allocated annually, reports the Patria News Agency.
The Service for Joint Affairs and the Commission for the Implementation of the Building Purchase/Acquisition Procedure, as well as the Council of Ministers of BiH, are responsible for the implementation of this decision.
Funds in the amount of KM 9,000,000.00 for the purchase of this building were previously secured in the budget of BiH institutions for 2015, and are also planned in the Program of Multi-year Capital Investments for the period from 2016 to 2018. At the same time, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, in cooperation with the Office of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, will determine the model for securing the total funds for the realization of this project.
Concurrently, the BiH Council of Ministers adopted a Decision on amending the Decision on the allocation of office space for housing BiH institutions in East Sarajevo, by which office space of 407.09 square meters in East Sarajevo, at the address Dabrobosanska 26-28, purchased for housing BiH institutions, is fully allocated to the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of Fight against Corruption of BiH, and in accordance with the conclusion of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
