Council of Ministers Allocates Funds for Culture and Sports

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The BiH Council of Ministers, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, has made individual decisions on allocating funds from the current grant for 2018.

The decisions will allocate 390,000 KM for "International Cultural Cooperation", 117,000 KM for "Support for Technical Culture and Innovation in Bosnia and Herzegovina", 1,352,000 KM for "Co-financing of Sports Events", and 440,000 KM for "Programs for Preparing Projects and Potential Candidates for Funds from the H2020 Fund" for 2018.

The BiH Council of Ministers also made a Decision on the selection of fairs and other events and activities in the country and the amount of allocated grant funds for the purpose of promoting domestic production in 2018, and gave consent to the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH to make the relevant decision.

The decision supports 28 fairs and other events in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a total of 400 thousand KM, ranging from four to 75 thousand KM, such as fairs in Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Bratunac, Brčko District, Čitluk, Goražde, Gradačac, Kozarska Dubica, Modriča, Mostar, Rogatica, Sarajevo, Tešanj, Zenica, Žepče, etc.

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH are tasked with implementing the relevant decision as soon as possible.
