Council of Ministers of BiH to meet on December 28, amendments to the HJPC Law on the agenda again

(Patria) - The session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for Thursday, December 28. On the agenda is the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The HJPC warned that they cannot start applying the previous amendments to the law and are asking for the problem to be overcome with a lex specialis.

Also on the agenda is the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Agency for the Provision of Air Navigation Services of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH.

Also before the ministers is the Proposal of the Decision on the Establishment of the State Border Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on the Establishment of the Working Group for the Preparation of the Draft Law on Demining in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Proposal of the Decision on the Adoption of the Plan of Guidelines for Labour Market Policies and Active Employment Measures in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023.

Also before the ministers are several decisions on salary supplements for employees in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for performing complex IT application tasks.

Approval for additional employment in the Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also being sought.

The good news is that the Draft Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Italy on Mutual Recognition in the Area of Driving License Exchange is on the agenda.

Information on the situation in the area of migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first nine months of 2023 will also be considered, as well as Information on the plan of concrete measures to mitigate the migration crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Statistics Agency of BiH has prepared Information on the completed multi-year project "Census of Population, Households and Dwellings in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013".
