Council of Ministers of BiH adopts decision on quality of oil derivatives

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH has adopted a decision on the quality of liquid oil fuels, which regulates the market of oil derivatives in BiH and transposes relevant EU directives in this area.

Improving the quality of gasoline and diesel fuels and reducing the amount of sulfur in certain liquid fuels will positively affect air quality and human health, and contribute to fulfilling the obligations from the Energy Community Treaty, it was announced from the Council of Ministers.

The decision, which was adopted at the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and with corrections at the session, is also important for BiH's accession to the World Trade Organization in the context of completing the final bilateral negotiations in the accession process.
