Council of Ministers of BiH: RS has not paid its share into the state aid system

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Report on State Aid in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2017, with the conclusion that Republika Srpska has not made its contribution payment, meaning it has not fulfilled its obligations in accordance with the Law on the State Aid System in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to the data from the BiH State Aid Council, state aid in the total amount of 320,094,748 KM or 163,661,845.86 euros was granted in Bosnia and Herzegovina last year, which represents a decrease of 21,138,476 KM or (6.19%) compared to 2016, but also an increase of 20,397,727 KM, (6.81%) compared to 2015.

At the same time, state aid per capita in 2017 amounts to 95.52 KM, which represents a decrease of 6.30 KM compared to 2016, when it was 101.82 KM, while compared to 2015, it increased by 6.09 KM.

State aid in the field of agriculture and fisheries accounted for 48.52% of the total state aid granted in 2017 and amounted to 155,304,706 KM or 79,406,035.29 euros.
