(Patria) - A session of the Council of Ministers of BiH will be held today. There are no laws on the agenda. From the last session, the Minister of Justice of BiH Davor Bunoza (HDZ BiH), due to the opposition of Minister Zukan Helez who stated he would not support the agenda, withdrew two legal solutions: the Law on the Court of BiH and the Election Law of BiH. As explained after the session, the laws were withdrawn for further harmonization.
The Law on the Court of BiH is one of the so-called European laws from the 14 priorities. Although BiH gained accession negotiations with the EU in March, the exact date for the start of negotiations has not been determined precisely because of the obligations that BiH has not yet fulfilled.
On the agenda of the Council of Ministers of BiH is a series of decisions, information, and 49 Reports on the work of the institutions of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023.
Also, the Council of Ministers of BiH will determine the proposed responses to the questions of state deputies.
On the agenda is also the Proposal of the decision on approving funds to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the current reserve for the period January - March 2024 - II. round of voting.
A session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly is also scheduled for May 21, but the agenda also does not include any new legal solutions determined by the Council of Ministers of BiH.
