
(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at its 7th extraordinary telephone session held today, made a Decision on providing international protection and rescue assistance to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in the aftermath of floods that have so far claimed six lives and caused enormous material damage.
The Decision approves the deployment of two protection and rescue teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, a team from the Federal Civil Protection Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and a team from the Republican Civil Protection Administration of Republika Srpska, with heavy machinery and necessary personnel.
The Council of Ministers also made a Decision approving funds from the current reserves of the budget of institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of financing the costs of teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina during the provision of international assistance to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia in the amount of 350,000 KM. With this Decision, the amount of 200,000 KM is allocated to the Federal Civil Protection Administration, and the amount of 150,000 KM to the Republican Civil Protection Administration.
