Council of Ministers of BiH approves funds from current reserves for IDDEEA for personal documents and license plates that were reduced in the Budget

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at its 68th extraordinary telephone session, unanimously, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, adopted the Decision on approving funds from the current reserves of the Budget of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of BiH for 2025 to the Agency for Identification Documents, Data Registries and Exchange of Data (IDDEEA) BiH in the amount of 1,589,000 KM.

The funds were approved for the purpose of realizing contractual obligations for license plates, identity cards, driver's licenses, and travel documents.

This enables the unimpeded continuation of the issuance of personal documents and license plates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the amount of approved funds for IDDEEA was reduced below the upper spending limit compared to the planned funds by the Law on the Budget of Institutions of BiH and International Obligations of BiH for 2025.

The Agency for Identification Documents, Data Registries and Exchange of Data BiH and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH are tasked with implementing this decision.
