Council of Ministers of BiH today on revised action plan for execution of ECtHR judgments

(Patria) - The 75th session of the Council of Ministers of BiH has been scheduled for today in Sarajevo, starting at 2:00 PM. There are 64 items on the extensive agenda.

Among other things, the Proposal for a revised action plan for the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the cases "Zornić v. BiH", "Sejdić and Finci v. BiH", "Pilav v. BiH" and "Pudarić v. BiH" should be considered.

It is also planned to consider the Information on the ongoing proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights in the case "Demokratska fronta v. BiH", app. no. 8168/23, as well as the Information on the proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights and the judgment "Kovačević v. BiH", app. no. 43651/22 of 29. 8. 2023.

The Proposal for a strategy for the control of small arms and light weapons in BiH for the period 2025-2030 and the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for the period 2025-2027 should also be on the agenda for the state ministers.

The Proposal for a decision on amendments and additions to the Decision on visas, as well as the Proposal for a decision on supplementing the Decision on the conditions for obtaining a permit for taking funds out of BiH for the purpose of establishing a representative office and a business unit abroad, are also planned agenda items.

The Proposal for a decision on giving consent to the Program for marking significant dates in the field of human rights in BiH for 2025, as well as the new text of the Proposal for a decision on the obligation to provide biometric data of foreigners, should also be considered.

Under the designation "confidential", the ministers should consider the Report on the participation of members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and police officers in peacekeeping operations in the period from July 1 to December 31, 2024.
