Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Discuss Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Communications Today

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a session scheduled for today, should consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Communications, proposed by the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also planned is the consideration of the Draft Loan Agreement (Road Asset Management Improvement Project in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the Investment Program for the Construction, Reconstruction, and Rehabilitation of Main Roads in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, with the Basis for Concluding the said Agreement.

A Proposal for a Decision on the Introduction of a Temporary Protective Measure on the Import of Steel and Steel Products, proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, should also be considered.

The agenda should also include a Proposal for a Decision on Placing Unallocated Revenues from the UniCredit Bank Account at the Disposal of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation.

Consideration is also planned for Information on Concluding the Agreement for the Reform and Growth Instrument with the European Commission, Information on the State of the Tourism Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Report on the Implementation of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Croatia on Cooperation in State Border Surveillance for 2025.

In the second round of voting, ministers should express their views on the Draft Basis for Conducting Negotiations for Concluding Amendments to the Military-Financial Cooperation Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Turkey and the Implementation Protocol on Financial Assistance between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of Turkey.

As the last item on the agenda, marked as "confidential," a Proposal for a Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Salary Supplements Based on Special Working Conditions for Employees of the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Detention, and Other Measures of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, should be considered.

The session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM in the building of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
