Council of Ministers: 30,000 KM for Christmas reception in BiH Parliament building

(Patria) - The 93rd session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Sarajevo today.

Among other things, the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted a Decision approving 65,900 KM from the current budget reserve for the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance.

The funds are intended for financing the costs of the external evaluation process of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH, in order to achieve full membership in the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

At the same time, a Decision was adopted approving 30,000 KM from the current budget reserve of institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international obligations of BiH for 2025 to the Service for Joint Affairs of Institutions of BiH for organizing the traditional reception on the occasion of Christmas holidays in the building of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, which will be held on December 18, 2025.

A Decision was also adopted at the session approving 60,000 KM from the current budget reserve to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the accepted correction of the Office for Legislation of the Council of Ministers of BiH.

The funds are intended for financing the costs, i.e., legal advice provided by the international law firm LABORDE LAW from Paris before the Implementation Committee of the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context (Espo Convention) in Geneva (Switzerland), which is handling the application of Bosnia and Herzegovina against the Republic of Croatia regarding the issue of radioactive waste disposal at Trgovska Gora.

At the session, consent was given to the Embassy of Greece in BiH to allow a light projection of the flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece on the Friendship Building between Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina on 30.11.2025, on the occasion of marking 30 years of diplomatic relations between Greece and BiH.
