Vidović: Orić was not in Potočari on July 11

Former commander of the Army of RBiH in Srebrenica Naser Orić was not at the commemoration in Potočari on July 11, when Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić was attacked, claims Orić's lawyer Vasvija Vidović, reports the Patria News Agency.

- Naser Orić was not in Potočari, because due to movement restrictions, he is not allowed to leave the Sarajevo and Zenica-Doboj Cantons in the Federation of BiH. There are numerous pieces of evidence and witnesses to confirm this. The police, for example, can determine where he made phone calls from that day – Vidović said.

She also emphasizes that Orić did not participate in the attack on Vučić in any way.

Vidović also adds that she might sue the President of RS Milorad Dodik for claims, during his recent visit to Belgrade, that Orić, disguised, incited the lynching of the Serbian Prime Minister in Potočari.

- Depending on which media outlets published that statement, we will decide whether to sue Dodik for slander. If that trial were in Banja Luka, I don't believe Orić would have a chance – Vidović said, Tanjug reports.
