VIDEO 'Technical difficulties' cause Mioković to continue session without anthem, anthem of BiH played after Alma Kratina's intervention

(Patria) - Today's session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, chaired by Dragan Mioković, was supposed to begin with the anthem of BiH. However, when the representatives stood up, technical support failed and the anthem was not played.

Mioković invited the representatives to sit down due to technical problems and continued with the session. The representatives expressed dissatisfaction with this situation.

Representative Alma Kratina (DF) addressed Mioković, stating she could not believe he continued the session without pausing to resolve the technical issue.

"Let's not turn Parliament into a circus. If we decided that sessions begin with the anthem, I want to protect you. What just happened, you, as the chairperson presiding for the first time, might perceive as an attack, a boycott, I don't know what. You need to investigate why we did not start this session with dignity as we decided as representatives. Please do not conduct the session until the technical issues are resolved and until we play the anthem. Both symbolically and in every way, this is your first time presiding, do not let it start like this," Kratina said.

Mioković thanked representative Kratina for her intervention and assistance, and the anthem of BiH was subsequently played.

After the anthem, he addressed the representatives, stating he would strive to prevent such occurrences in the future.

"We ask for your understanding, we are all aware of the state of this technology, but regardless, I will truly try to ensure this does not happen," Mioković said.
