(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Government building is under increased security measures. The ceremonial entrance to the KS Government building is protected by security shutters, and police forces are deployed around the building.
A group of citizens protested in front of the KS Government building this morning, and at one point entered the building itself, but the police prevented them from moving further.
The citizens demanded that the Dubai-Hapoel match, scheduled to be played in the Zetra hall on November 6, be cancelled, thereby sending a message that those whose country is committing genocide in Gaza are not welcome in Sarajevo.
KS Prime Minister Nihad Uk avoided meeting with the citizens, and then, under police escort, arrived at another location where citizens were waiting.
Sarajevo police announced that this match will be played without an audience for security reasons.
The Hapoel team arrived in Sarajevo under protection measures.
