VIDEO Typhoon carried a car through the air like a feather

An incredible video from Taiwan shows a car simply disappearing after being caught by a typhoon. The footage, filmed from a moving car, shows a stormy tempest, reports the Patria News Agency.  

As the sky is covered by clouds, a strong wind lifts dust in front of the car and carries everything in its path. At one point, the typhoon catches the car driving in front, lifts it into the air, and simply carries it away as if it were a feather in the wind. The white car is no longer visible afterwards, and all of this is accompanied by panic and screaming.  

To make the footage even more incredible, not far from where the typhoon carried the car away, an unknown person is sitting right by the road. The driver of the car from which everything was filmed got out to see if that person was okay, after which the footage ends.

Seventeen people died, over a hundred were injured, and four are considered missing in the storm that hit Taiwan in recent days. About three million households were left without electricity, and 279 domestic and 37 international flights were cancelled. Thousands of people were evacuated, and 1,300 of them are currently living in temporary shelters, writes Index.
