Today, during the protest in Velika aleja in Ilidža, journalists were given footage recorded by cameras from the Kuwaiti Embassy on the night Dženan Memić was killed, Patria reports. The Memić family sent this footage for expert analysis to Canada and were told that the license plate in the middle has the letter A and that both lights on the van are intact.
The footage shows an undamaged van passing by.
More than a thousand citizens joined the members of the Memić family today, who were protesting to demand truth and justice for Dženan. The resignation of the Chief Cantonal Prosecutor Dalida Burzić was again demanded, and it was stated that the next protests will be in front of the building of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, and that they will not disperse until she resigns. It was at this very spot in Velika aleja on February 8 that Dženan sustained fatal injuries while walking with his girlfriend Alisa Mutap. He died on February 15, and his death is still shrouded in mystery. While the family has claimed from the very beginning that Dženan was killed, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment for a traffic accident, and the trial of Ljubo and Bekrija Seferović is underway.
