(VIDEO) Slaven Kovačević: The 'Trojka' gave Vukoja a chance, he used it for fascism

(Patria) - Democratic Front (DF) candidate for the BiH Presidency member Slaven Kovačević was a guest on BIR Radio, where he spoke about the current political situation in our country.

Among other things, he also touched upon the presence of Constitutional Court of BiH judge Marin Vukoja at the concert of controversial singer Marko Perković Thompson with fascist symbols in Široki Brijeg.

Kovačević took this opportunity to recall two statements by 'Trojka' officials concerning Vukoja's appointment.

- The first is the statement by the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Dragan Mioković, who stated in the media after Vukoja's election that it was a "job well done".

I would like to ask him now - is this a job well done? Is this what he wanted, and knowing what Mioković said in one of the Sarajevo media outlets, which then caused a storm and avalanche in the circles around the HDZ and its affiliated satellites.

I would like to remind you that we said it was not right for a political person - and you can see that Vukoja was an employee or member of a political party - to be a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH for the sake of the integrity of the Court itself, as well as the judges of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

The second is the statement by Igor Stojanović, who said that Marin Vukoja should be given a chance. I would ask Stojanović - did Vukoja use his chance? What is on the table now? Is this what you wanted?

Is this your choice, all of you who voted for the election of Marin Vukoja? Is fascism ideologically acceptable to you as a phenomenon, and for such a person to be in the Constitutional Court of BiH, which, among other responsibilities, should be the protector of human rights?

How can such a person, who is supposed to protect the human rights of BiH citizens, protect the constitutional order, the BiH Constitution, even be a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH? This is a question for the wider public, although it is quite clear that according to the rules of the Constitutional Court of BiH, they can dismiss him - said Kovačević.
