A memorial service was held today at the Bratunac City Cemetery for approximately, as organizers stated, 3,500 Serbian civilians and soldiers from the Central Podrinje region, reports the Patria news agency.

Incidentally, the President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik demanded that representatives of Serbs from that BiH entity withdraw from the work of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH until, as he stated, the case of abuse of the BiH parliament by Bosniak deputies who sent a letter to the UN General Assembly supporting the British resolution on Srebrenica is resolved.

- I demand that they withdraw until this matter is cleared up and brought to light – Dodik stated and added that "the Serbian voice must be heard and that no one will humiliate the RS."

Dodik also used his address at the commemoration of 23 years since the suffering of the Serbian population in the vicinity of Srebrenica and Bratunac during 1992 to reiterate his stance that he will not accept the genocide in Srebrenica.
