Asim Ferhatović Hase was born in Sarajevo on January 24, 1933, where he began his brilliant football career in 1945. He became a member of FK Sarajevo in 1948. He played his first match in Sarajevo's jersey in 1952 against Zagreb.
He played 422 matches for the first team of Sarajevo and scored 198 goals. For years, he was the best player of Sarajevo and one of the best footballers in Yugoslavia.
