VIDEO New disgrace in Knin: Serbian flag set on fire to the tunes of Thompson's song

The celebration and remembrance of the magnificent military operation Storm, which liberated a large part of Croatia 21 years ago, has completely taken a back seat this year, reports the Patria news agency. 

After members of the IX. battalion of the Croatian Defense Forces (HOS) glorified the criminal Ustasha regime this morning in front of the police, inappropriate behavior continued in the afternoon hours.

A group of young men and women, to the tunes of Thompson's song, set fire to the Serbian flag, to the delight of those present. In the foreground is a shirtless young man trying to set the Serbian flag on fire on a table. He did not succeed, so someone helped him with a torch. The flag burst into flames, sparking enthusiasm among those present, mostly young men and women.

An incident also occurred on the main street of Knin, which was briefly blocked by about forty men. Dressed mostly in black shirts, they blocked traffic and sang Ustasha songs. 

Some in the group raised their hands in a fascist salute, one shouted "For the homeland", and the others responded "Ready". They also lit flares, momentarily reducing visibility on that part of the road. They prevented a column of cars, which included a police van, from passing for several minutes.

Part of the group, which had previously come out of a nearby café and was visibly under the influence of alcohol, hit the roofs of cars, and one car carrying journalists was completely covered with flags. Spokesperson of the Šibenik-Knin police, Marica Kosor, confirmed the incident to Hina and said that the police are acting on citizens' reports, writes Index.
