(Patria) - The Youth Initiative for Human Rights - Croatia has placed a poster at the entrance to the settlement of Ahmići near Vitez, where this month marks the 31st anniversary of the crime and suffering of Bosniak civilians. With this act, they wanted to show that they remember the victims and demand that the Republic of Croatia assume responsibility.



“Forgive us in the name of the citizens of the Republic of Croatia,” reads the large poster.

Earlier, they placed a similar poster on Slavonska Avenue in Zagreb, which reminds of the victims of war crimes in Ahmići. Individuals destroyed it within just one day.

“With the poster, ahead of the 31st anniversary of the war crime in Ahmići, we reminded of the crimes in Ahmići and conveyed that the citizens of the Republic of Croatia remember the victims and demand that the Republic of Croatia assume responsibility and apologize for its crimes,” they stated.
