The rivers of Bosnia and Herzegovina are increasingly interesting to foreign tourists. Thousands of guests from all over Europe, America, and Arab countries visit BiH annually just to enjoy the untouched mountain canyons.
More than 20,000 tourists have rafted down the Neretva River, specifically in the part passing through Konjic, this year and last year, Jerko Mucić, owner of one of the 30 tourism agencies for nautical sports operating in this city, previously confirmed to NAP.
This number, Mucić warns, could be much higher if the state developed a strategy for river tourism development, which is also becoming increasingly popular worldwide, writes NAP.
