VIDEO Ikanović: My leader is the Reis, Mrkonjić: I am not a Wahhabi

Professor Muhamed Ikanović and hafiz Adnan Mrkonjić were guests on FACE TV's CD last night. They spoke openly about Wahhabis, Salafis, Takfiris, the Islamic Community in BiH, the Rez operation, Mevlid Jašarević... reports the Patria News Agency.

Their interview was at times very emotional.

- I call on Bosniaks, especially the youth who are returning to faith, to trust our authority, the Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, more, to trust the institution of the IZ more. The problem is in dialogue, in communication. Prejudices exist at all levels, and we must learn to trust our leaders.

My leader is the Reis. I love him for the sake of Allah and forgive him wherever he errs. I love this people, and I swear by Allah, to whom I prostrate five times a day, that I love my Bosniak people and would never raise my hand or do anything against my people.

I would never raise my hand to destroy my Islamic Community. Attempts are being made to undermine the authority of our Reis, and I, as Muhamed Ikanović, stand with the IZ and my Reis, I respect him as an authority, and I will always be his support and backing. I forgive him whenever and if it happens that he errs towards me. Our Reis is God-fearing, a sincere patriot who will never act against his people. I have complete trust in him, said Ikanović.
