VIDEO Gacko covered by polluting dust from the Thermal Power Plant

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Residents of Gacko complain about increased air pollution from the nearby thermal power plant.

A video posted on social media shows how much dust has fallen on the ground.

The level of pollution from the Thermal Power Plant is unacceptably high. We call on the authorities to react. If the authorities do not react, we are all called to react because every person is a priest and guardian of God's creation,” the post reads.

 

“They say 'Lucky you in Gacko, you are in an air spa'. Looking at the picture of Gacko this morning covered in some unusual blanket, those same people would think that the people of Gacko are lucky to receive some 'medicinal' gas in that 'spa', maybe it will even stop the coronavirus. Let us, the residents, ask ourselves 'are the crumbs they give us' worth more than the health, not of us in our old age, but of the wonderful youth of Gacko, and especially the children! I think we have been silent and enduring for too long!” reads one of the comments on the post, writes N1.
