VIDEO Duraković on Dodik: BiH is not his patrimony, I will not quarrel, I have a plan for Srebrenica

Milorad Dodik at last night's SNSD rally in Srebrenica clearly showed what his election campaign will be based on: violating the law.

So far, it was mostly about the Constitution of BiH and all acts that guarantee equality to the citizens of this country, but these days Dodik increasingly shows that even the laws of the entity he supposedly loves so much mean nothing to him, states the response signed by the Mayor of Srebrenica, Ćamil Duraković, as reported by the Patria news agency.

-On Monday, Dodik imposed his party commission for conducting the referendum on us, the people of Srebrenica. Last night, those gathered in the Cultural Centre learned that if his protégé Mladen Grujičić wins the mayoral election: „We will sit down in Banja Luka and make a decision that more money from forests, from ores, and from these concessions that have been granted will remain here in the local budget. With Ćamil Duraković, you will get nothing."

Milorad Dodik must be aware that neither Bosnia and Herzegovina nor its entity RS are his patrimony, and that he cannot dispose of natural resources according to his wishes. There is legislation regulating the issue of forests, ores, and concessions. This legislation can be changed by the RS National Assembly, not by Dodik and Grujičić at some private gathering of theirs.

Dodik's statement that if Grujičić wins there will be more money for Srebrenica, and if I win the people of Srebrenica will get „nothing" is an arrogant and insolent blackmail by a man who does everything in his personal interest, never in the interest of the citizens.

I will not pay attention to the numerous other insults directed at me last night. I personally plan to run a completely different campaign. During September, I will present my vision for the development of Srebrenica and I expect that the people of Srebrenica will no longer „fall for" Dodik's marketing tricks, and that my programme will prevail, not his provocations, Duraković said.
