VIDEO: Borjana Krišto issued illegal concessions in Livno

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Krišto (Borjana Krišto, editor's note) also gave me permission.

These are the words that Stipo Marelja - threateningly - directed at a resident of a Livno village, after the locals stopped the works at the local water intake, initiated by his company ‘Lara-Natural.’
Six villages near Livno, below Mount Tušnica, as well as villages supplied from the nearby Pašinac spring - which is currently undergoing reconstruction with funds from the local community and the City of Livno - could be left without drinking water, after the private company ‘Lara-Natural’ started excavations at that water intake.

The case has been reported to the police.

In the recording - obtained by the Patria News Agency - Marelja can be heard threatening the locals that they must allow the continuation of works at the spring, invoking Borjana Krišto, deputy president of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović.

That Krišto, born in Livno, is in close relations with the owners of Lara-Nature is evidenced by the visit of German businessmen to Livno on September 15, 2018.

The Business Association of the Federal Republic of Germany from Berlin was represented by Wolfram Nowsch, Michael Diel, Achaz v. Oertzen, as well as Stipo Marelja and Josip Sužanj - of Livno origin. They were received by the Prime Minister of Canton 10, Ivan Jozić, and Borjana Krišto, although she held the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH at the time.
Oertzen, Sužanj, and Marelja are the owners of Lara-Natural, which today carries out the controversial excavations at the water intake below Mount Tušnica.

All that can be learned about the entire project so far is that the concession for the water intake below Mount Tušnica was previously held by the company Dže-Co d.o.o. Livno, represented by director Branko Džeko. That company initiated bankruptcy proceedings at the beginning of 2016, and the concession right to the water intake was - by all appearances illegally - transferred to ‘Lara Natural.’
