Large fire engulfs Konjević Polje, flames approach houses

(Patria) - A large fire engulfed a forest in the Bratunac local community of Konjević Polje in the evening hours.

No sleep tonight, they stated on the Konjević Polje Facebook page, along with several photos and a video they broadcast live.

The fire has unfortunately come very close to the houses, and it seems the locals face a sleepless night.

They remain hopeful that the rain, which has already started to fall in some parts of our country, will extinguish the fire during the night.

"A large fire has engulfed the entire forest above Konjević Polje, and it is now descending towards the houses. Be prepared so we can organize if anything is in danger.

This human negligence and insolence knows no end, and it will not stop until someone is adequately punished. Every year, a couple of forests catch fire," they stated on the Konjević Polje Facebook page.
