High interest in vaccination at SCC

(Patria) - There is great interest in vaccination at Sarajevo City Center organized by the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton. Vaccination will last today and tomorrow, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Minister Haris Vranić also received his third dose.

Citizens can generally receive their first, second, or third dose of vaccine of their choice at this vaccination point.

Given the increase in the number of new infections in Sarajevo Canton, and the fact that most citizens' six-month period since their second dose has expired, the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton has called on citizens to respond in as large numbers as possible to vaccination with booster doses.

According to the recommendations of the Expert Advisory Body for Immunization of FBiH, booster doses can be received by persons over 18 years of age at the earliest three months after receiving the second dose, if they have not had COVID-19.

Persons who have recovered from COVID-19 and received two doses of the vaccine can receive this dose at the earliest six months after receiving the second dose.
