Major Agencies Claim No Drop in Demand for Packages, Some Report Drop of Up to 30 Percent!

A certain number of BiH citizens are traveling to world tourist destinations this year, and demand for tourist packages has not decreased despite the catastrophic floods in May this year, claim  well-known travel agencies „Relax Tours“ and „Sol Azur“, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

However, the agency „Sirius Travel“ from Sarajevo points out that they have 20-30 percent less demand, and similar is stated by the agency „Albatros“.  

- There is no significant drop in terms of workload, we even extended some tours because there was demand, it exceeded all our expectations - confirmed Aida Terzić from „Relax Tours“.

World destinations and their attractive offers have enticed citizens to spend money on an attractive annual vacation despite the poor economic situation in the country.

- Apart from the ratios in packages, there are no other changes, the number of passengers is even higher compared to last year - say the travel agency „Sol Azur“.

This year too, the most attractive country is definitely Turkey – especially Bodrum, then Egypt, Tunisia, Spain, Greece, and Croatia.

- Albania is new and citizens are not yet showing too much interest, but Turkey is by far ahead of all, especially when it comes to this season - claim the travel agency „Relax Tours“.

Turkey, with its affordable packages and the hospitality of its caterers, has managed to retain a large number of interested people and attract new ones.

- The connectivity of airline routes and the possibility of creating affordable packages have definitely contributed to Turkey being the most attractive - explained in „Sol Azur“.
