Large book exchange in Sarajevo on February 11

Residents of Sarajevo will be able to exchange their books with other lovers of the written word on February 11, thus enriching their knowledge, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The interesting campaign will be carried out by the Youth Council of the Old Town Sarajevo Municipality, in cooperation with the Metamorphosis Association.
Visitors will be able to bring their books or a book and exchange them among themselves. This is a cost-effective way of obtaining new books for reading, the organizers said.

This event promotes the ''Book for a Book'' shelf and the initiative to establish a book club. The only condition for participation in the event is that participants bring their own book, which serves as an entry ticket. The invitation is open to everyone regardless of age, and we have prepared a special creative corner for children.

''Book for a Book'' is a public bookshelf that gives you the opportunity to leave a book you have read for someone else, and you borrow a new one.

The book club aims to gather all lovers of fine writing, to discuss books that everyone has read and express their opinion, positive or negative stance on the book, characters and plot. The book club connects book lovers in conversation about their favorite topic. As part of the event, all interested parties will be able to apply for membership in the Book Club, writes Patria.
