Major damage closes Tuzla–Bijeljina road

(Patria) - Due to major damage, the Tuzla-Bijeljina main road (at Banj Brdo) is closed to all vehicles.

On the regional roads Zvornik-Priboj (in Goduš) and Banovići-Lukavac (in Tulovići), traffic is slow, with one lane open.

Movement of all vehicles over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of gravel road), while trucks must travel via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

Due to regular servicing, the left lane of the A-1 motorway, Vis tunnel, 25. Novembar tunnel, and Grab tunnel, in the direction of Tarčin-Lepenica, will be closed to motor vehicle traffic today, 6.04., from 8 AM. During the works, vehicles will be directed to use the right lane in both directions until the works are completed.

Due to road repair works on a 3 km section of the A-1 motorway Kakanj-Lašva, the left lane of the motorway is closed. During the works, vehicles will be directed to use the right lane in both directions, direction Lašva-Kakanj.

On the sections of the A-1 motorway Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi and A-1 Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica, traffic is redirected to the overtaking lane due to necessary works.

Due to expansion joint repair works on the bridge on the M-17 main road Konjic-Tarčin (before the Bradina tunnel), traffic is redirected from the driving lane to the overtaking lane.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

Long queues of vehicles are present at the exits from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Kostajnica, Kozarska Dubica, Gradina, Gradiška, Novi Grad, Brod, Orašje, and Brčko. At other border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles do not exceed 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new EU Entry/Exit System (EES), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
