United Kingdom outraged by Russian veto on Srebrenica resolution

The UK Mission to the UN Security Council reacted on Twitter after their proposed resolution on Srebrenica failed to pass during the vote because Russia voted against, while four members — China, Venezuela, Nigeria and Angola — abstained, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- The United Kingdom is outraged by Russia's veto on the resolution on Srebrenica today - the statement reads.

Furthermore, with this act, Russia tarnishes the memory of those killed in the genocide.

We remind that the proposed resolution by the United Kingdom was amended seven times, and last night, together with the United States, they sent the seventh version of the Srebrenica Resolution to the Russian Federation.
