Most water levels decreasing, Sava still rising

After days of rising river trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, today is fortunately the opposite, writes the Patria News Agency. Water levels at all hydrological stations are further decreasing (VS Sarajevo, Miljacka - H=145 cm; VS Reljevo, Bosna – H=303 cm).

-       Further decrease in water levels and calming of rivers are forecast. Middle course of the Bosna River. Also, in this, the most critical part of the basin, from Zenica, Zavidovići, Maglaj and Doboj, water levels are decreasing. Thus, at VS Zenica, Bosna – H=430 cm. The Jala River in Tuzla is also decreasing, this morning, H = 348 cm. Further decrease in water levels and calming of rivers are forecast – say the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.

The current water level at VS Sanski Most, Sana is 501 cm (8 hours), and it is lower than the extreme recorded at 18:00. The water level of the Sana is slightly decreasing.

According to the latest observation, the water level of the Sava River at the Gradiška hydrological station has exceeded the extraordinary flood defense level by 35 centimeters and currently stands at 765 centimeters, it was announced this morning from the Hydrometeorological Institute of Republika Srpska.

The water level of the Sava River at the Srbac hydrological station is 871 centimeters and has exceeded the regular flood defense level by 11 centimeters. The Una River at the Novi Grad profile downstream is decreasing and is 12 centimeters above the regular flood defense level. The current water level is 372 centimeters.
