Most of Sarajevo without water, normalization expected late afternoon

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to regular maintenance and testing of transformer stations at the "Bačevo" water source today between 09:00 and 16:00, water supply in most of the city will be provided with reduced pressure, meaning that individual parts of the city at higher elevations and on higher floors will be without water, according to ViK.

Neighborhoods where disruptions and interruptions in water supply will occur are: Mojmilo, Dobrinja, Saraj Polje, Sokolović Kolonija, Lužani, Stup, Stupsko brdo, Bojnik, Dobroševići, Alipašino polje, Čengić Vila, Otoka, Socijalno, Skenderija, Marijin Dvor, Baščaršija, Buća Potok, Briješće, Vitkovac, Zabrđe, Rajlovac, Riječica, Reljevo, Sokolje, Boljakov Potok, Velešići, Pofalići, Hum brdo, Koševsko brdo, Ciglane, Bare – Šip, Kobilja Glava, Hrasno, Hrasno brdo, Trg Heroja, Švrakino selo, Aneks, Grbavica, Soukbunar, Cicin Han, Bistrik, Pogledine, Paje, Komatin, Boguševac, Mahmutovac, Hošin brijeg, Hrid, Močila, Trčivode, Alifakovac, Šanac, Hotonj, Ugorsko, Dreskovača, Krše, Nova industrijska zona Vogošća, Barice, Orahov brijeg, Breka, Kromolj, Podhrastovi, Bjelave, Mejtaš, Sedrenik, and the streets: Alipašina, Bolnička, Koševo, and Patriotske lige.

In parallel with these works, a repair of a fault on the 800 mm diameter pumping pipeline for the "Mojmilo" Reservoir will be carried out, as well as other necessary works on pipelines within the "Bačevo" water source.

We expect the completion of works and full normalization of water supply around 20:00.
