Journalist Award "Srđan Aleksić" to be Presented Tonight

The "Srđan Aleksić" journalist award will be presented tonight at the Art Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, starting at 7 PM.

The first prize for professional reporting will be awarded to Milan Račić from the portal Tačno.net from Mostar. The second prize went to journalist Mirza Sadiković from Television of the Una-Sana Canton, and the third to journalist Ana Kotur for texts on the portal Buka.ba. The special plaque "Srđan Aleksić" will be awarded to Al Jazeera Balkans journalist Sanel Kajan.

This journalist award is given for professional and continuous reporting on marginalized and vulnerable groups in BiH society and for the development of socially responsible journalism, within the framework of USAID's PRO-Budućnost project.

The event will be attended by, in addition to the award winners and friends and partners of the PRO-Budućnost project, the Ambassador of Sweden to BiH Anders Hagelberg, and Shanley Pinchotti, Director of the Office for Democratization at the USAID Mission in BiH.

The "Srđan Aleksić" award is presented by the Peacebuilding Network with the support of the PRO-Budućnost project.

PRO-Budućnost is a USAID project implemented by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in cooperation with the Mozaik Foundation, Caritas BiH, Tuzla Citizens' Forum, Banja Luka Citizens' Human Rights Forum, and the Interreligious Council in BiH.
