Important project of Ilidža Municipality: Zenik Street gets 835 new meters of asphalt

(Patria) - By asphalting Zenik Street in the Ilidža settlement of Rakovica over a length of 835 meters, the Ilidža Municipality has successfully implemented another extremely important project in the field of traffic infrastructure.

Despite the fact that weather conditions in the past period were not the most favorable, and that the calendar start of winter is approaching, one of the largest road projects in 2023 has been successfully completed.

The dilapidated road, damaged by excavations, after inspection and assessment of the actual condition and needs, was included in the work program for 2023, and has now taken on a completely new appearance. Its renovation has ensured optimal conditions for everyday life for a large number of households in Rakovica.

Earlier this year, 456 meters of this road were reconstructed, while recently another section received new asphalt over a length of 132 meters.

This road communication is now much safer, but also more suitable for winter maintenance.

Several more road projects are planned by the end of the year, if weather conditions permit.
