Vasoski: Key Factor is Establishing the Young Squad from the Academy

(Patria) - In the press salon „Svetozar Vujović“ at the premises of FK Sarajevo, the new head coach, Aleksandar Vasoski, was officially presented today. For the first time, the media was addressed at a press conference by Ismir Mirvić, President of the Board of Directors of FK Sarajevo, who announced major changes in the club this season.

„Aleksandar Vasoski was our first choice for coach. He is full of energy and enthusiasm to give his maximum, and I am convinced that he can motivate our players and bring out the best results. He knows perfectly well what it means to play at the highest level, and it is especially important to us because he is a specialist in developing young talents, which is one of the priorities we will focus on in the future“, emphasized Ismir Mirvić, President of the Board of Directors of FK Sarajevo, and welcomed Vasoski to the Club.

The newly appointed head coach Aleksandar Vasoski knows the structure and playing style of the team from Koševo very well, which largely determined his set goals for the upcoming period. „FK Sarajevo is a club with a very rich and long tradition, and for me this is an exceptional honor and pleasure.

The goal, of course, besides winning the Cup, is to go to Europe because I am sure the club has the quality to achieve that goal. However, the key factor is establishing the young squad from the Academy as regular first-team players, who might prove themselves and eventually debut for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina“, emphasized Aleksandar Vasoski, the new head coach of FK Sarajevo.

Vasoski stated that he does not mind when he „positively burns“ for the Club, and that he is used to it and it motivates him further. As he pointed out, he plans for Sarajevo's play in the spring season to be much more attractive in order to attract as many fans to the stands as possible, and he expects fairness and a good atmosphere in the team.

For January 19, a departure for preparations in Ljubuški is planned, and on January 31 to Antalya.
