(Patria) - An extraordinary session of the Economic and Social Council for the territory of FBiH will be held tomorrow, it has been confirmed for Patria.
The session will discuss decrees of the Government of FBiH, specifically the one on subsidies (refund) of part of contributions to private employers after the increase of the minimum wage in January 2025. At that time, the wage was increased from 619 to 1,000 KM.
Also, the Government of FBiH should, by tomorrow at the latest, make a decision extending the decree on the payment of non-taxable aid to workers by employers. It is not yet known whether the current 450 KM will be reduced to some other amount, given that lower contribution rates started applying from July 1. The Government session will also be held on Wednesday.
Otherwise, the Decree is valid until July 31. Since salary calculations for July are being made, employers still do not know if they can count on a part of the non-taxable aid to workers.
The President of the ESC, Safudin Čengić, told Patria last week that the Government is committed to extending this decree.
However, there is still no official confirmation from the Government of FBiH.
