(Patria) – Uzbekistan has confirmed its first case of coronavirus – it is a citizen who returned from France, the country's Ministry of Health confirmed.
The Government of Uzbekistan, a country of 34 million inhabitants, announced that it will take all necessary measures to prevent the spread of the still poorly understood virus.
Uzbekistan Airways, the state airline, announced on Sunday that it will suspend or significantly reduce the number of flights to cities in Western Europe, Asia, and the Middle East until the end of April, Reuters reported.
