Visits banned for patients at the General Hospital 'Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš'

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The General Hospital “Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš” has introduced a ban on all visits to patients as of today.

This measure was taken to prevent the occurrence and spread of a viral infection, in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the Institute for Public Health of the Sarajevo Canton, the Crisis Staff of the Sarajevo Canton, and the Commission for the Control of Hospital Infections of the General Hospital.

All employees of this healthcare institution have been instructed to: use protective masks, mandatory hand washing and disinfection before and after working with patients, enhanced hygiene measures for all surfaces and spaces, and ventilation of rooms, especially patient rooms, outpatient clinics, offices, waiting rooms...

The General Hospital emphasizes that they continuously monitor the current epidemiological situation and act in accordance with prescribed procedures and protocols with the aim of protecting the health of citizens.
