Tuesday Day of Mourning in Sarajevo Canton

SARAJevo, (Patria) - On the occasion of the traffic accident that occurred on Friday, April 12, in which Mina Kadrić, Lejla Sadiković, Merima Balkić and Almina Ćorović, employees and former employee of the Public Institution Elementary School "Kovačići", tragically lost their lives, the Government of Sarajevo Canton, at today's extraordinary session, decided that Tuesday, April 16, be declared a Day of Mourning in the territory of Sarajevo Canton.

Mourning in Sarajevo Canton is expressed by flying the Canton's flag at half-mast, in accordance with the Law on the Use of the Coat of Arms and Flag of Sarajevo Canton, by a minute of silence at work and other gatherings, by holding commemorative sessions, by signing a book of condolences, as well as by other means of expressing mourning, appropriate for the specific event for which mourning is declared, it was announced from the KS Government.

On the Day of Mourning in Sarajevo Canton, public entertainment events are postponed.
