Annual Report of the Central Bank for 2018 Adopted

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At the session of the Finance and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, the Annual Reports of the Central Bank of BiH for 2018 were adopted.

The Committee also adopted the Report on the Work of the BiH Office for Consideration of Appeals for 2018.

A conclusion was also adopted, proposing that the Council of Ministers of BiH urgently secure additional funds from the current reserve of budgetary funds for filling vacant positions in accordance with the Rulebook on the Internal Organization of the BiH Office for Consideration of Appeals, in order to ensure the full capacity operation of the BiH Office for Consideration of Appeals.

The Information on the State of Public Debt of BiH as of December 31, 2018, compiled by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, was adopted.

With the Committee's amendments, the Draft Budget of the BiH Institutions Audit Office for 2020 was adopted.

Also, the reports on the reviewed financial operations of political parties in 2016 and 2017, compiled by the BiH Central Election Commission, were adopted.

The Finance and Budget Committee also supported and sent to further parliamentary procedure the parliamentary initiative of Edita Đapo, Saša Magazinović, and Mirjana Marinković - Lepić, which reads: "Based on Article 8 of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, we submit a parliamentary initiative to include the criterion of 'green public procurement' within the Public Procurement Law as an instrument for environmental protection and sustainable development."
