Action Plan for Implementation of the Reform Agenda at the Level of the Council of Ministers of BiH Adopted

The Council of Ministers of BiH today adopted the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Reform Agenda at the level of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which contains a package of measures to be implemented by BiH institutions in 2015 and 2016, either independently or in cooperation with entities in BiH, reports the Patria news agency.

The Action Plan envisages more than 50 measures to be implemented in the areas of public finances, taxation and fiscal sustainability, business climate and competitiveness, rule of law and good governance, and public administration reform.

The Council of Ministers of BiH also adopted the Information of the Directorate for Economic Planning on activities related to the preparation of the Economic Reform Program of BiH for 2016-2018, which should be submitted to the European Commission no later than January 31, 2016.

- The Economic Reform Program, prepared by the authorities in BiH, on the one hand contains a medium-term macroeconomic and fiscal policy framework, including fiscal measures, and on the other hand contains a comprehensive program of structural reforms to improve the country's growth and competitiveness - stated the Council of Ministers.
