One of the four young BiH political leaders whose political engagement has long been recognized by high-ranking EU officials, Mirza Ustamujić will participate in the Regional Academy for Democracy (RAD) program, which is being held in Bolzano and Trento (Italy) from September 9 to 12, reports Patria.
During his visit to Italy, Ustamujić, along with other participants, will visit the European Academy in Bolzano, where he is scheduled to meet with Italian Senator Francesco Palermo.
The Regional Academy is implemented in cooperation with the Network of Schools of Political Studies of the Council of Europe and aims to bring together young political leaders in the region whose work has been recognized. The project is funded by the European Union.
- Such initiatives are particularly interesting at a time when EU countries are turning towards the Western Balkan countries, wanting to help their accelerated path towards integration and economic development, states Ustamujić.
